Testing hardware

This little post of mine...I'm gonna make it shine.

Actually, I am merely testing my Bluetooth keyboard, to see if I can make a post with the minimal equipment that I will have on the trail.

Msgr. S and I have been training for the Camino since early Spring.   So here are some photos from training hikes.

First, the MN state flower, the Ladyslipper, taken in the Tamarac wildlife refuge.   We have logged many miles here.   I also found many nice chanterelle, hedgehog, and morel mushrooms, but that is a story for a different blog!

Second, a photo of an ogre on a collapsed bridge in Buffalo River State Park.  How Msgr. S got the nickname of 'ogre' from a future Missionary of Charity is also an interesting story.   Ask him about it sometime!

Finally, since the long hike has not begun and Msgr. S hasn't read any of my posts yet, this will probably be the only smiling photo I'll get of us while in actual hiking mode!
